Very well designed story, with a main character that is easily identified with, Harry Koegh.
you get all the expected tropes by this point and there is a certain kinetic energy to this one and the ending is quite a revelation (I won't spoil it).
So Radu is not only Wamphyri: he's also Too many times to count! With their help Harry defeats the villians while sacrificing their lives in the process. The hotel was big and rather famous, ostentatious if not downright flamboyant, within easy walking distance of Whitehall, and ... not entirely what it seemed to be.

They harry Keogh searched for his lost wife and child for several years. This being the fifth installment of a series,I can't really write about this one without giving anything away from the previous books. Harry uses Janos' (from the end of the last book) methods of raising the dead to bring back one of Johnny's victims named Penny. This is a great book; combining elements, of Judeo-Christian aspects, with science-fiction, horror, and Lovecraftian weirdness. Great book. there in the hour of his resurgence. Seems like there were a lot of unnecessary parts.. still trying to figure out what the point of the dead guy with the Harley was.. feel free to fill me in!

BLOOD-QUEST INTO REALMS OF SHRIEKING NIGHTMARE! I enjoyed the first three books much more than the last two, however, the imagination of the author to create the worlds and the stories within are brilliant.

He does make odd appearances after this one (in some way or another) but here we get to see his true fall into... essentially craziness. you get all the expected tropes by this point and there is a certain kinetic energy to this one and the ending is quite a revelation (I won't spoil it). Caught in a battle that they appear to be losing, Harry and Karen combine powers to call up all of the Russian people that died in the explosion that happened at the dimension opening in the last book.
I still plan to read Blood Brothers and The Last Aerie. Published by Hodder and Stoughton. This is not your typical vampire and it is scary and bloody and extremely addicting to read. Lumley, being an ex SAS officer, surely did. Enter Harry.

A good series and I think a good ending point. Harry's sons Nathan and Lester were always my favorites, and Nathan is my favorite Necroscope of them all. Except -.
He does make odd appearances after this one (in some way or another) but here we get to see his true fall into... essentially craziness. against the most horrific plague of vampires ever spawned.
