I asked at City Hall and the response was basically ""why would anyone one want to do this ride"", ""There is nothing out there"" and ""watch out for the numerous rattlesnakes"".We did not ride. The trail's starting point is the Fredericktown Community Park, which hosts many town events and features facilities for everyday recreation, including picnics … The Wyoming Heritage Trail extends from Shoshoni south to Riverton and is paved from the trailhead in Riverton to the outskirts of the town. Once you leave the asphalt, this trail is not well maintained.

My beautiful girlfriend and I rode the entire trail, round trip, starting from the parking lot of the Caboose Motel in Titusville. Beware though, the day I rode the trail, I encountered bears (black bears?) I am very disappointed in the Rails to Trails. Trail Description One of our most scenic trails, the Owl Creek trail connects Aspen to Snowmass and is the home of the famous Owl Creek Chase. There are many trailside picnic tables to stop and rest, or lunch at. •

It was a partly cloudy day which made for a somewhat chilly ride in mid September, but it was well worth it. The trail is nice seems to be narrow though. Check or FAQs for more common login questions. However, don't let the bike traffic deter you – this is an absolutely gorgeous trail. The trail crosses over Hwy 26 about a quarter-mile south from the Walmart.The trail is paved for about three miles in Riverton and about one mile in Shoshoni. Rain shelters, fabulous!
