You could try offering him 2 mice each Friday rather then one. I have seen an older male at 6ft.
Snakes are solitary animals, so they don’t get lonely. Switch substrates at anytime. The sooner the better. Female ball pythons are generally measured by their weight. There are undocumented reports of some wild ball pythons exceeding 6ft. Growth ultimately depends on genetics, feedings, as well as the unavoidable factor that males tend to mature inferior to the female. My BP's generally gain ~10g/feeding once they reach the ~2'/~150-200g/~7-8 month mark. Now from what I read is that is what males usally top out at. This is typically the end of the road for the exuberance of growth BP's experience in their lifetime.
I wish I'd taken better photos of my corn while he was growing up! I noticed the last person above stated that Ball Pythons get to be 6 ft. I have a ball python and I’m thinking about getting a chinchilla, would they be okay to be housed in the same room?
One I got a month ago or so from a pet store and they say he's about 8 months old and hes 30" long not very thick. I do know he is male and can't be more than 2 yrs.

The growth rate is very much dependent on how the ball python is cared for and how well it is fed. I have seen an older male at 6ft. if you could please tell me how old he might be and how big he should be through the years of... How do you think about the answers? For future reference, when you want to use a picture to show the size of the animal, put something in the picture that we all know the size of so we have something to reference; a dollar bill (though hundreds seem to be the favourite), a can of soup, etc.. ? This is rare. (also not 100% sure she's a she, but given her size, i just assumed). Larger ball pythons are either older snakes or females. This is often in response to heat and dryness during hot summer months. i dont know how old they usually are at the pet store.
Three if it's a male I would imagine. Enclosure: There are many different ways to keep a Ball python. Ball pythons will normally grow about a foot a year till they reach the age of 4. he was about 18 inches when i first got him. And yes its a male.
My 1 year old bp is getting big (about 3 1/2 ft) and he is also male. Meanwhile another female nicaraguan from the same breeder only got to 6 feet in the first 3 years, while mine was only around 3.5 feet at that time.
